Who we are
Seva ("we", "us") provides a business intelligence and WhatsApp automation platform that helps Indian service businesses manage their finances, track performance and automate customer interactions. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
We collect the business details you give us during setup (business name, category, services, working hours and your WhatsApp Business number), and the messages, bookings and payment records that flow through the assistant on your behalf. We also collect basic contact details of your customers (such as name and phone number) so the assistant can serve them.
How we use it
We use this information solely to operate the service for you — answering customer messages, booking appointments, sending reminders, generating payment links and showing you your dashboard. We do not sell your data or your customers' data to anyone.
Sharing
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service — for example WhatsApp/Meta for messaging and our payment partner for UPI links — and only to the extent required. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
Data retention & security
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as required to comply with law. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect it. You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Agreement
By using Seva you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
The service
Seva connects to your WhatsApp Business number and automates bookings, reminders, payment requests and review requests. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and features may change over time.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide, for honouring the bookings the assistant makes, and for complying with WhatsApp's and applicable laws when messaging your customers. You must have the right to contact the customers whose details you bring to the service.
Payments
Fees, billing cycle and any applicable taxes are as agreed at sign-up. Payment links generated for your customers are processed by our payment partner; settlement of those funds is governed by that partner's terms.
Cancellation
You may stop using the service at any time. We offer clear pricing with no long-term lock-in. On cancellation we will help you export your data.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Seva is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from third-party services such as WhatsApp or payment providers. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding three months.
